Mt Hope Foundation is committed to creating a nurturing and secure learning environment for underprivileged community of Bugesera, Rwanda, where children can thrive and grow. Our mission is to spread the love of God while fostering a positive and healthy atmosphere for our students. We believe that every child deserves access to quality education and a safe place to learn and play. Through our foundation, we aim to empower these children and give them the tools they need to succeed in life. With dedicated teachers and staff, we work tirelessly to provide a supportive and enriching experience for our students, so they can reach their full potential and build a better future for themselves.
As we embark on the new school year, Mt. Hope Christian Academy is filled with excitement for its second year of nurturing young minds. With 65 children enrolled across two nursery school classes, we witness remarkable growth and rapid learning among our little ones. They are not just absorbing academic knowledge; they are also acquiring essential life skills that will serve them well in the future. We feel immensely blessed to have such a dedicated and talented staff, whose commitment to our students is truly inspiring. Additionally, we are deeply grateful for the unwavering support and prayers we have received from our community, which strengthen our mission and enhance the learning experience for our children. Construction has begun
Future Hope
Our school is experiencing growth and as a result we are in the process of constructing a new building. The plan is to build a two-story, six classroom structure over the course of three years. This expansion will enable us to accommodate a new class of children each year, ensuring that we can continue to provide high-quality education for the many children in need. We are excited about the opportunities that this new building will bring for the community as well as creating a positive and enriching learning environment for our students. The second phase of construction is now completed!
Lunch Program
We are eager to establish a lunch program for our children. We are currently exploring options to make this essential program a reality. The cost of providing nutritious meals is significant, but with high rates of malnutrition in our community, we are determined to combat this issue. Our goal is to ensure that all children have access to healthy and nourishing meals, and we are committed to finding solutions to make this happen. It is crucial that we prioritize the well-being of our children and address the challenges of malnutrition in our community. We are dedicated to working towards a sustainable and effective lunch program that will benefit our children and their overall health.
